5k/1 mile Color Run to benefit HASRA "no kill" animal shelter. This will be an Untimed fun run/ walk. Nonaggressive dogs on leash are welcome to participate.
This event is a fund raiser benefitting HASRA (Heart of Alabama, Save, Rescue, Adopt) which is a non-profit "no kill" animal rescue located in Killen, Alabama. HASRA is committed to saving the lives of unwanted dogs in the north Alabama area. This is a 5k/1 mile color run that is geared for the entire family, including your dog. You don't have to be a serious runner, as this event will NOT be timed. This IS a certified course and you may wish to time yourself. Not a runner? Walk if you wish. Do whatever is the most fun for you. We encourage groups to dress up in white clothing and just have fun. Preregister for a $5.00 discount! Packets will include commemorative t-shirt, and color pack. Must be preregistered! Door prizes will be given away at the end of the run. Their will also be a pet costume contest for the best dressed pooch. The contest will be held immediately after the run, not before 10:00. You must be registered by 9:30 to get your ID number for your pet and fill out the entry form.

Fees:
$22 - 5k pre-registration by September 16.
$27 - 5k late registration after September 16 and day of race.
$17 - 5k preregistration for children under 12.
$22 - 5k late registration for children under 12.
$15 - 1 mile preregistration by September 16'
$20 - 1 mile late registration.
1 mile- same fees for all ages.
